Game summary:
BREAKING NEWS: RazorDogs Elite Selects (the Boys) goaltender Mario Pistone has been committed to Sunnybrook Hospital Veterens Wing for observation after "shelling" during Moss Park Men's B Division play Wednesday nite.
Pistone's condition was first noticed immediately after the game when he failed to recognize any of hisElite Selectsteammates asking each player "were you on the ice?"
Doctors at Sunnybrook are puzzled as Pistone seems to be suffering from a rare form of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome similair to that suffered by veterens of the great artillery battles of the first world war.
Hospital Officialshave stated that"while the British & Canadian soldiers who were involved in these battles could often sustain themselves with each other's comraderie and the knowledge that their own big guns were likely inflicting similair suffering on the enemy, there appears to have been none of this kind of support in Pistone's case which is likely to have hastened his condition"
In related news RazorDogs GM Harland Wake is rumoured to be pondering Flick & Yoblonski as call-ups to breathe some life into the flat squad. Wake was overheard to say after the game that "those 2 guys may be dumber than a bag of hammers but at least they got heart!"
In addition to the positive morale impact and knowledge of cheap eating locations in the downtown corethat Flick & Yoblonski would bring to the team they are also renowned experts in the "blind behind the back" and "alley-oop" passes that would bring some creativity to the RazorDogs lacklustre offense.
